For two weekends, the Allianz-Țiriac Arena Ice Rink hosted a new edition full of energy and enthusiasm of the Țiriac Trophy tournament, an event that brought together over 500 young hockey players from across the country.

Now in its seventh edition, the tournament dedicated to children, organized by the Țiriac Foundation, took place on October 17–19 and October 25–26, 2025, bringing together teams from the U7 to U17 age categories. The atmosphere of the five days of matches at the Allianz-Țiriac Arena was festive, with the ice turning into a space filled with passion for hockey.

Throughout the competition, the young athletes demonstrated remarkable skills, respect for the values of sport, determination, and the joy of playing. In recent years, the Țiriac Trophy has established itself as a landmark event for ice hockey in Romania, making a significant contribution to the development and popularization of the sport among children.

After five days full of excitement and memorable moments on the ice, the teams Fundația Țiriac (U7), Allianz-Țiriac (U9), Corona Brașov (U11, U15, U17), and Skoda (U13) stood out through consistent performances and strong team spirit, finishing the competition with top-level results in their respective categories.

The award ceremonies were marked by the presence of honorary guests such as Ilie Năstase, the legendary tennis player, Alin Petrache, President of the Romanian Rugby Federation, and Eduard Pană, Emeritus Master of Sport, who shared inspirational messages with the young athletes about perseverance and passion for sport.

Continuing its mission to promote sport and physical activity among children, the Țiriac Foundation offers free introductory skating courses for children aged between 3 and 7. These take place Monday to Friday, between 2:00–3:00 PM and 3:00–4:00 PM, at the Allianz-Țiriac Arena Ice Rink (7 Drumul Gării Odăi, Otopeni), giving children the opportunity to discover and further develop skating and ice hockey skills.

With each edition, the Țiriac Trophy reaffirms the Țiriac Foundation’s commitment to supporting performance, education through sport, and the development of a new generation of dedicated and passionate athletes.
