II. Information about cookies and online identifiers
This policy provides you with general information about how browsing our website leads to the placement and use of cookies, online identifiers and other similar technologies, and the services that use them. These are placed and used, as appropriate, to:
- enable browsing and remember your choice regarding these cookies or other similar technologies,
- to increase the security of browsing the website,
- to provide a better browsing experience, and to improve and adapt the functioning of the website and make the content and navigation as relevant, user-friendly and appropriate as possible,
- to better understand who visits our website and how, so that we can continuously improve our activity.
III. What are cookies and online identifiers?
Cookies are small text files placed by the website/page you visit, through your browser, on the device you use for browsing (computer, smartphone, etc.), which “remember” this browser and/or device when the website/page is accessed, and help the user navigate the website efficiently and perform certain functions.
Whenever you browse our website for the first time or return to it, these small files in your browser communicate with the server that placed the cookie. These identifiers can thus provide a range of services – for example, they can remember your preferred language and font size settings, they can remember the cookies you opted for, whether the website is accessed by a human user or a botnet, in which case online alert and security tools can be triggered, etc.
As a general rule, the information collected through cookies is not likely to lead to the identification of internet users, however, cookies may track information such as the IP address, geolocation data, operating system data, resolution of the device used, data regarding the visits on the website (including the number of visits, the time spent on the website, the manner in which the website is accessed, the behaviour on the website), the organic traffic (representing the traffic generated on our website through search engines, excluding possible paid advertisements). However, they will be used in the form of anonymised statistics for the purposes described in
our detailed Cookie List.
IV. Who can place cookies and online identifiers
Cookies and online identifiers can be placed when you browse our website, either by our server (first-party cookies) or by third-party domains (third-party cookies).
Since 2020, new ways of interacting with users of various websites have evolved, such as
Privacy Sandbox or
Google Consent Mode, which, for example, allows websites to run Google-based services based on the consent expressed by the website user.
You can find out what cookies or other first-party or third-party identifiers we use and details about the data collected and how this data is used by reviewing
our detailed Cookie List from the cookies consent banner, where you can also express your preferences for each one.
V. What are the purposes and legal bases for using cookies?
Cookies are considered
strictly necessary when used exclusively for the purpose of transmitting a communication over an electronic communications network or when the operations performed by the cookies are necessary for the provision of an information society service (e.g. access to the website) expressly requested by the user. They include, for example, cookies that are required for system administration or to prevent fraudulent activities, without which the website cannot function properly. For this type of cookie, the user’s consent is not required, as it serves both the user’s interest (enabling communication and/or other requested service) and the legitimate interest of the website owner and, where applicable, compliance with the law, which may impose cybersecurity requirements.
Preference cookies are used to remember the preferences of the website/page user, so that it is not necessary to select preferences again on subsequent visits.
Analytics and statistics cookies indicate whether and how the website has been visited previously.
All categories of cookies/online identifiers, except those that are strictly necessary, may only be placed and used with your consent as a user.
There may be other categories of cookies, but as a general rule, they can only be placed and used with the consent of the person visiting the website.
For details about these categories of cookies/online identifiers, their purpose, the basis for their use, and how you can express your preferences, please see
our detailed Cookie List. Please note that you can also opt out at any time by accessing our Cookies module, in which case your data will no longer be processed in the future.
You can check the current status of your consent at any time and change your options by accessing the cookie banner by clicking on the icon visible on every page of this website.
VI. How long a cookie is stored
Depending on their lifetime, cookies can be classified in session cookies or persistent cookies.
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
Persistent cookies remain active, depending on the type and consent expressed, for the period specified and displayed in
our detailed Cookie List, unless you choose to delete them beforehand. TIF renews cookie consent requests at least once a year, in accordance with its policy.
VII. To whom and where the collected data may be transmitted

We may share your data with partners and service providers, such as our advertising agency, consultants, etc, insofar as you have consent to the applicable cookie that allow as to do so.
Third-party cookies and similar services are controlled by the entities that place them, and we invite you to review their terms and conditions, as well as privacy policies, to learn more about their use. You can find details about the recipients of the data in
