Supported by Țiriac International Foundation, Fundația Dumbrava Minunată manages a dedicated senior care home in Brașov, offering support and shelter to more than 40 older adults in vulnerable social situations. Since 2009, the center has provided accommodation, meals, and medical supervision tailored to the specific needs of more than 135 residents, ensuring dignity and comfort in their daily lives.
Residents feel safe and welcomed, benefiting from continuous social assistance, counseling, and recreational activities that encourage integration and emotional well-being. The home also ensures access to healthcare services, including regular medical check-ups and specialized treatments, depending on each case.
This initiative reflects the foundation’s mission to promote solidarity, compassion, and responsibility towards vulnerable members of society, offering not just shelter but also a renewed sense of belonging and community in our focus area of Brasov.
