Gymnastics initiation at GymNadia
Since 2018, Fundația Țiriac financed by Țiriac International Foundation, supported the development of young talent through GymNadia, a gymnastics initiation program specifically designed for children aged 2 to 6.
These free classes gave a chance to more than 349 children to explore the world of gymnastics in a safe and supportive environment, helping them develop their physical abilities but also their mental, social, and emotional skills.
By encouraging children to engage in sport from an early age, GymNadia helps build confidence, discipline, posture, cognitive skills, and social interaction, while fostering a healthy and active lifestyle.
Gymnastics national competitions
Nadia Comăneci Cup
A prestigious gymnastics event honoring Romania’s legendary gymnast Nadia Comăneci. Established in 2014 and held annually in Onești, it is aimed at gymnasts aged 9-13 and highlights both elite and emerging talent through competitive routines, fostering a tradition of excellence in the sport. Țiriac Foundation sponsored 2 editions.
GymNadia Cup
A national gymnastics competition celebrating emerging talent in Romania. Held annually at the GymNadia inside the Allianz-Țiriac Arena Ice Rink, it features individual and group routines across four categories: Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced (6–8 years), and Advanced (8–12 years). The event provides young gymnasts with valuable competitive experience in a supportive environment. Țiriac Foundation organized 3 editions of the GymNadia Cup, in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
Irina Deleanu Cup / FIG World Challenge Cup - Rhythmic Gymnastics
Irina Deleanu Cup is an annual rhythmic gymnastics competition in Romania, showcasing talented national and international gymnasts and promoting the development of young athletes. In addition, Romania hosts a stage of the FIG World Challenge Cup series, attracting elite rhythmic gymnasts from around the world for high-level competition and ranking opportunities. Both events highlight excellence in rhythmic gymnastics and have been supported by Țiriac Foundation for 4 editions.
Dynasty Cup
A gymnastics tournament gathering promising young athletes from clubs in Bucharest and surrounding areas. Open to gymnasts aged 4 to 18, the competition emphasizes skill development, sportsmanship, and the growth of Romanian gymnastics. Țiriac Foundation sponsored 3 editions of the competition, in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
